Description
Established in 1981, Nordnorsk Filmsenter AS (NNFS) is the nation's oldest regional film centre, now located in Tromsø. NNFS is a funding body and facilitator for filmmaking in Northern Norway.
Objective
We give grants earmarked for development and production of short films and documentaries and are involved in 3-5 international co-productions per year. We run workshops for professionals, and have the last years been hosting one of the sessions for the documentary development program ESoDoc. We also run the annual international pitch and workshop NORTH Pitch-Below Zero during Tromso International Film Festival in January.
