Description

Neighborhood Watch is a Brooklyn-based independent film and commercial production company formed in 2011 by Richard Peete. Since its founding, Neighborhood Watch has produced music videos for artists including The Foo Fighters, Washed Out, Small Black, The Black Lips, Bear in Heaven, Gauntlet Hair, Foxygen, M83 and many more. In 2012, NW produced three short films including Aude Cuenod’s RED VELVET, which premiered at the 2013 Sarasota Film Festival and Max Sherwood’s NERVOUS PERSON, which premiered at the 2013 Brooklyn Film Festival and won the ‘Audience Choice Award.’ NW’s first feature film, Jeremy Saulnier’s BLUE RUIN, had its world premiere at the Director’s Fortnight section of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival where it won the ‘Fipresci Award’ and was acquired by RADiUS/Weinstein Company for North American distribution. Neighborhood Watch currently has several short film and feature film projects in development, and continues to produce commercial content for television and the web
