NEED PRODUCTIONS

Description

Based in Brussels, Need Productions has produced and co-produced over a hundred films since its foundation in 1999 ; feature films, shorts, documentaries, live action and animation. In 2015, Anne-Laure Guégan and Géraldine Sprimont took over the reins of the company. They are members of the EAVE, EURODOC, SERIES WOMEN and EWA. They produce and co-produce films that denounce excessive inequalities, exclusionary patterns and overlooked or forgotten parts of society.

Objective

We are developing 3 feature films on our territory : César Diaz's third film, THE JUDGES, for which we produced NUESTRAS MADRES (Caméra d'Or at Cannes…), Paul Vincent de Lestrade's first feature film HELTER SKELTER, whose first short film (A GOOD BOY) won more than 25 international awards, and a first animated feature film, THYME HILL. We are co-developing Nathalie Álvarez Mesén's second feature, THE WOLF, for which we co-produced the first, CLARA SOLA (Directors' Fortnight Cannes, …)
