Description
Mimesis Film is a production company based in Prague, Czech Republic. It was founded in 2012 by producer Jan Macola. The company focuses on producing and co-producing feature films and documentaries, while also offering services for international productions filming in the Czech Republic. Since March 2016, Mimesis Film has been operating three-screen Kino Pilotů cinema, which is under the direction of Alžběta Macolová. The company works closely with its sister distribution company, Pilot Film.
Objective
The primary objective of Mimesis Film is to present original stories to audiences that encourage them to contemplate their own relationship with society, their role within it, and its future direction. The company collaborates with talented authors who possess a clear vision and a distinctive creative style.
