Météore films is a french distribution and production company which was founded in 2015 by Mathieu Berthon after his 10 years experience at Les Films du Losange with Régine Vial and Margaret Ménégoz.Since then, Météore films was in charge of the french releases of "Suite Armoricaine" (directed by Pascale Breton - Locarno film Festival 2015, Fipresci prize), "Fuocoammare" (directed by Gianfranco Rosi - Berlin Film Festival 2016, Golden Bear) and Between Fences (directed by Avi Mograbi - Berlin Film Festival 2016).Its catalogue includes Gianfranco Rosi's "Boatman" (1993), "Below Sea Level" (2008), "El Sicario - room 164" (2010) and Ossama Mohammed and Wiam Simav Bedirxan's "Silvered Water, Syria auto-portrait" (Cannes Film Festival 2014, special screening).in 2017, Météore Films will, among others, be in charge of the releases of Frederick Wiseman's "Ex-libris, the New-York Public Library" and Dominique Marchais' "Nul homme n'est une île".
