Mediterranean Film Festival Split (FMFS) takes place annually in June. The programme focus is on feature and short fiction and documentary films from Mediterranean countries. FMFS - Kino Mediteran is a regional distributor and theatrical exhibitor with a network of 20 cinemas in small Croatian coastal towns, mostly on islands. The distribution is aimed at European independent films. Kino Mediteran and FMFS are amongst the most visited cultural events on Adriatic Coast.
