MALATYA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Description
Established in 2010, MlFF aims to carry the unique heritage of its ancient hometown to the contemporary culture scene. During the course of six years the Film Festival not only answered to the demand of its young and enthusiastic public and created a cinematic aura in Eastern Anatolia but also became one of the major events in Turkey by hosting important guests including John Sayles, Rade Serbedzija, Tahmineh Milani, Rashid Masharawi, Aruna Vasudev, Jean Roy, Randa Haines and Nastassja Kinski.
Objective
10th edition of MIFF will take place in Autumn 2021. Crystal Apricot awards inspired from the city’s symbol will be awarded both in International and National Feature Film Competitions. Sidebar events will include retrospectives and a new forum for future projects alongside workshops, panel discussions and exhibitions.
