Makadam Films was founded by producers Sara Bonakdar and Michael Graf in London, two former film executives with a background in the film finance and sales sector. The company’s focus lays on films bearing an inherit relevance and urgency that use the cinematic form in a daring and surprising way to resonate with audiences worldwide. The company’s slate has naturally formed to consist of mostly female led projects and includes projects in development with with Film4 and the Doha Film Institute.
