Description
LE GROUPE OUEST is an international film lab set in Brittany (France). With filmmakers and writers from 60 countries coached on its shores, major awards obtained in all A-list festivals, LGO has created a unique methodological approach for script-development, hand in hand with an applied Research Platform for Storytelling, the StoryTANK. Le Groupe Ouest created LIM | Less is More, together with Creative Europe and partners from 10 countries.
Objective
Le Groupe Ouest created LIM to empower a generation of filmmakers intent on opening new avenues and finding new audiences by tackling new issues. Humanism is in trouble. We live in an age of over-consumption and deep ecological concern. In the meantime, stories lie at the heart of what makes us human. Cinema is a powerful storytelling tool for today, plugged into our dreams and nightmares, that can contribute to restore our ability to create meaning, for now and for future generations.
