Description
La Fiebre is an award-winning independent film company set in Peru and created by director Carlos Ormeño Palma with the aim of producing films that, like fever in humans, respond to a growing problem on a personal and social level. The company has won the fund of the Ministry of Culture of Peru and its director, Carlos Ormeño Palma, has been selected by La Fémis (Université d'été) and Berlinale Talents Buenos Aires 2021.
Objective
The main project of the company is the production of "The scent of Walls", a drama about a journalist looking for his lost father (CineQuaNonLab 2021), the distribution of the short "The distance of Time" (29° Raindance Film Festival) and the pre production of "The weight of Air", a short film about violence against women in Peru. Right now, the company is looking for co-productions to produce and keep developing these projects.
