Description
The scout film production GmbH was founded in August 2011. Their managing partners Andreas Banz, Dirk Engelhardt, Matthias Miegel and Robert Thalheim studied together at the HFF Potsdam and have since realized projects in various companies. Through the joint development of the screenplay idea for the feature film "Scouts of Peace", the desire for a closer cooperation emerged. The close agreement on further ideas and the way in which projects are implemented finally led to the creation of a joint venture. The basis and starting point of the joint work is the desire to observe social developments and their translation into a realistic film language that reaches a broad audience through humor and sincerity.Since the beginning of 2015, scout film has an office in Hannover-Burgdorf. It is headed by Michal Honnens, who is connected to the partners through more than 15 years of cooperation. The aim of the Lower Saxony branch is to increasingly develop projects from the region.
