Description

The main focus of “K Films” is creating feature films and documentaries with no boundaries and possibilities in terms of chosen country, genre, language or budget, producing multicultural films both locally and internationally – Hong Kong, USA, Japan, Ireland, Lithuania and Latvia have been already the list of the countries where the owner and shareholder of the K Films - Linda Krukle - has produced so far. Two of nine Krukle’s produced movies have been in a race for Academy Award.

Objective

Looking for post production partners creating the period drama "In the Land that Sings" (2023) Logline: Young woman Anna joins a male choir going to Riga with hundreds of others, where active, prescient-minded Latvians under the rule of Russian empire, living in a German society, in half a year manage to establish a lofty tradition in our nation – the Song Festival – being united in singing, what each Latvian has been keeping as a dear heritage until nowadays.
