Description
JUREMA FILMES is a Brazilian audiovisual production company founded in 2013. Its name comes from a native tree in Northeastern Brazil whose hallucinogenic roots have been used for generations by poets and storytellers. Led by Camila Valença, Dedete Parente, and Lírio Ferreira, JUREMA creates and promotes stories that reflect the cultural richness of Pernambuco through diverse artistic languages and identities rooted in its fertile land.
Objective
Seeking international co-production partners, sales agents, and distributors for current features in post-production (fiction/documentary) and projects in development (features/series). Open to exploring collaboration opportunities on compelling international narratives and expanding the global reach of Brazilian stories.
