The national body with responsibility for the promotion of film culture in Ireland. Major activities includes film distribution & exhibition at the Irish Film Institute in Dublin, maintaining the Irish Film Archive, co-ordinating an extensive Education and Outreach programme, as well as international film seasons and a number of publishing activities.
