Description
Founded in 2006 Inicia Films is a Spanish independent producer company based in Barcelona. Valérie Delpierre creates her own company in order to produce feature films, documentaries and shortfilms with a special emphasize on international co-productions as well as the development of new talents.Inicia Films also provides production services to foreign production companies and broadcasters interested in filming in Spain.
Objective
Currently we are focusing on the international exploitation for The treasurer, released on Sept 2015,Thy father’s chair premiered at IDFA and The Interpreter premiered at the Montreal WFFest. We are also on the preproduction of the Carla Simón’s first feature Summer 1993 as well as a couple of documentaries in coproduction with France and Germany. At the same time Inicia is developing the feature Former education by Pilar Palomero and the documentary The Magical Bunch by Antonio P. Molero
