Description
Filmmaker Villi Hermann lives in Lugano, Switzerland. He studied at the London Film School (LSFT) and started his career with documentary films. He often uses documentary and fiction elements in his films, notably in San Gottardo. In 1980, he founded his own production company Imagofilm Lugano. He is a member of the Association of Swiss Film Makers (ARF/FDS) and of Swiss Film Producer GARP and AFAT.
Objective
For the last few years, Villi Hermann, together with Michela Pini produced films of young and talented Swiss directors like The Ice Sculptor by Alberto Meroni; Tutti Giù by Niccolò Castelli; Sinestesia by Erik Bernasconi and coproduced with the boarder country Italy La Buca by Daniele Ciprì (2014); La Bataille d’Alger, un film dans l’Histoire by Malek Bensmaïl (2017). He is currently producing Atlas the second feature film by Niccolò Castelli, with Matilda De Angelis, Nicola Perot, Kevin Blaser.
