Description
Founded in 2017 by a prolific Canadian Distribution outfit Raven Banner Entertainment and a Toronto-based Film Production/Financing company 9 Light Entertainment, Hangar 18 Media has since been gaining momentum on the Canadian and International production stage. To-date, Hangar 18 has produced 13 feature-length projects, including V/H/S/94 - a Shudder Original, which was released in October 2021 and within 2 weeks became the most-watched film in Shudder's history.
Objective
Operating in the Canadian production landscape, Hangar 18 Media is always looking to bring productions to shoot on Canadian soli, and take advantage of the lucrative Canadian film tax credits. By having a strategic alliance with a Toronto-based post production facility PurpleDOG Post, we are also able to offer tax credits on only post-production, for producers who are willing to do their post in Toronto and benefit from tax incentives as well as PurpleDOG's post equity funding initiatives.
