Description

'Gray Matter Productions' explores the often under-represented elements of culture in Canadian and South Asian cinema. 'gray matter productions' does not shy away from subjects of immigration, terrorism, the marginalization of South Asian and Muslim men and the LGBT community. The executive director, Arshad Khan recently worked on Deepa Mehta's film MIDNIGHTS CHILDREN as one of the art directors. He is currently developing fictional feature film FARA (to be shot in Canada) and FAULTLINE (to be shot in Pakistan). Objective

'gray matter productions' has been creating short film and documentary content over the last ten years. We are now developing two fictional feature film projects and two documentary feature projects in Canada. We produce and curate the Mosaic International South Asian Film Festival of Mississauga (MISAFF).
