Description

Free Women Films (FWF) is a multiple award-winning Film and TV production company specialising in fiction, tv dramas, social issues, and non-fiction storytelling. Recently, NFVF submitted our documentary, Music is My Life – Joseph Shabalala and Ladysmith Black Mambazo, as SA's official selection to the 96th Academy Awards in Best International Film and Best Documentary Features, a co-production with the SA/UK. Our feature films premiered at the Toronto International, Berlin, IDFA, INPUT, and over 20 global film festivals. Our productions have screened on Amazon Prime, Netflix, SABC, BBC, ZDF/ARTE, CANAL +, NHK, YLE, Sky Art, e.VOD/ e.TV and MNET.

Objective

We have a slate of feature films, thrillers, rom-coms, dramas, and TV series; we are looking for co-producers and sales agents. We can bring 40% of the South African qualifying spend to the project. We are also keen to service productions in South Africa with a foreign location tax rebate, which can bring 20% to the film.
