Description
Film AlUla, the film agency of the Royal Commission for AlUla was established in 2020, with a mandate to position the region as a premier global film destination. AlUla is a region of exceptional natural and cultural importance, featuring some of the world’s most spectacular scenery. Combined with financial cash rebates, production support incentives, and world-class infrastructure, it offers an ideal location for filmmakers.
Objective
The agency supports local, regional, and international film and TV productions, while also developing a film-friendly ecosystem. Film AlUla Studios, a cutting-edge production complex caters to film and TV projects of all scales. The facility boasts two expansive sound stages (each 25,828 sq. ft.), along with dedicated production buildings (17,761 sq. ft.). Film AlUla has received recognition, winning the Emerging Location Award and Film Commission of the Year at the Global Production Awards.
