Since its creation in 1979 in Nantes (France) by Alain et Philippe JALLADEAU, the Festival of 3 Continents presents its yearly selection of some 80 fiction and documentary films from Africa, Latin America and Asia.A pioneering and challenging event as the first international film festival dedicated to those cinematographies, the Festival geographical specificity remains today synonymous of curiosity, discovery, aesthetic rigour, passion for foreign films that the association Les 3 Continents, organizer of the Festival, promotes and supports through all-year-round actions such as Produire au Sud workshop. In 2013, the Festival of 3 Continents - to Produce in the South organized a workshop in Caracas, to Sderot, intervened to Durban.
