The European Film Market, one of the top three international markets, is the business centre of the Berlin International Film Festival. Over a period of eight days, running parallel to the festival, the EFM is the focal point for over 10,000 international industry professionals. It is a dynamic event, with a perfect infrastructure where the industry meets to do business in a comfortable and efficient manner - all in the heart of one of the most exciting cities in the world: Berlin.

Objective

The goal is to provide EFM participants with an ideal framework for their business dealings, and the opportunity to discover the best quality products in the film business, but also new talents and the latest trends in the film & media industry during the first international market of the year. Under the auspices of the EFM, the Berlinale Co-Production Market is an intensive three-day event for international producers and financiers to meet around selected projects.
