Description
The Costa Rica Film Commission promotes the country's film industry by supporting international productions and showcasing Costa Rica as a prime filming destination. It facilitates permits, offers incentives, and provides resources to attract filmmakers. Additionally, the Commission oversees the Central American and Caribbean Audiovisual Market (MAUCC), fostering regional collaboration and enhancing the global visibility of local films.
Objective
The Film Commission of Costa Rica has two main objectives: 1. Attraction of foreign investment to film to our natural locations, involving our technically and artistically prepared human resources. 2. Promotion of the content generated by our directors and producers, in all its formats (cinema, television, advertising, corporate videos, multimedia, VR, AR, etc.)
