Celebrating its 69th edition in 2024 (7-17 Nov), Cork International Film Festival (CIFF) is Ireland’s first & largest film festival, showcasing the latest & best international & Irish features, documentaries & shorts. CIFF has 10 awards, incl. 4 features competitions & 3 Academy Award® qualifying (Grand Prix Irish, International, Doc Shorts) plus strands for young people, culinary, mental health, climate action, classics, special events, Industry Days & Doc Day, and online & year-round events.

Objective

Cork International Film Festival’s mission is to present Ireland’s most exciting, diverse, and ambitious annual film festival, connecting and stimulating audiences and artists through a carefully curated selection of the best films, to create a unique shared cultural experience, rooted in Cork, open to the world. The Festival is a dynamic conversation with our audiences: filmmakers, industry, young people & the public, in cinema and online, reaching 70,000+ people across Ireland year-round.
