Description
The Coletivo Mulheres em Série transforms audiovisual storytelling in Brazil through independent and grassroots productions that emphasize diversity, inclusion, and social impact. Focused on themes such as sexual freedom, dissident bodies, and accessibility, the collective brings together women of different ages, single mothers, people with disabilities, and the LGBTQIAP+ community. Its transmedia productions, such as Chapa, Pode Pá! and Letras Transgressoras, are celebrated for their innovation and have won awards at national and international festivals.
Objective
To amplify diversity and inclusion in Brazilian audiovisual storytelling by producing impactful, independent, and grassroots transmedia projects. Focused on accessibility, gender equity, and social innovation, the collective aims to empower marginalized communities while garnering recognition in national and international markets.
