CIRCLE WOMEN DOC ACCELERATOR
Description
CIRCLE Women Doc Accelerator is a unique training initiative designed for women and non-binary writers, directors, and producers from all-over the world. It offers a safe space for consultation, collaboration, sharing ideas and improving skills with the support of senior filmmakers and industry experts. CIRCLE encompasses a documentary programme - WOMEN DOC ACCELERATOR as well as a fiction programme - FiCTION ORBIT.
Objective
We act as a springboard for instigating transnational collaborations, and, through this, empower audiovisual professionals (particularly those coming from disadvantaged circumstances) to achieve their full, international potential. The main mission is to empower women and non-binary filmmakers in the film industry and increase their visibility in broader Europe and in general. Since our founding in 2018, we’ve supported more than 50 documentary film projects.
