Description

The first production of the company was Temporada de Patos (Duck Season) co-written and directed by Fernando Eimbcke. Temporada de Patos had its Premiere at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes (2004) and since then participated in more than 100 international festivals and was sold in more than 30 countries. It won numerous awards, amongst them 11 Arieles from the Mexican Academy, Best Director at Tessaloniki, Jury Prize at AFI, etc The next feature production of Cinepantera was Lake Tahoe, written and directed by Fernando Eimbcke. Lake Tahoe was premiered in competition at the 58th Berlinale (2008), where it won the Alfred Bauer Award for artistic contribution. Since then, Lake Tahoe participated in about 90 film festivals and was also sold to more than 30 countries. It won Arieles for Best Movie and Best Director as well as many other prizes.
