CINÉFOROM - FONDATION ROMANDE POUR LE CINÉMA
Description
Cinéforom – Fondation romande pour le cinéma was created in May 2011 in close concertation with the representatives of the moving picture industries in the French-speaking part of Switzerland. Our founding members are the Cantons of Fribourg, Geneva, Jura, Neuchâtel, Valais and Vaud as well as the City of Geneva and Lausanne. Our annual budget of approximately 10.6 MCHF is currently funded via public grants (75%) and lottery funds from the Loterie Romande (25%).
Objective
Selective production support for feature, documentary and animation films with a max. support amount corresponding to 40% of the Swiss production costs. Automatic production support for films having either received a grant from the Swiss Federal Office for Culture and/or signed a co-production agreement with the Swiss public-service broadcaster SRG SSR within the framework of the «Pacte de l’audiovisuel». Distribution support. Selective XR/Interactive support for prod, proto and dev.
