Description
International Film Festival established in 1989 in Sudbury Ontario Canada. Annual 9 day event in September, screens approx. 130-140 films including domestic and foreign language features, shorts, documentaries and animation. The film festival attracts upwards of 35,000 cinephiles and industry representatives. Cinefest Sudbury also hosts Cinema Summit, and industry platform that allows for information sharing, education and growth of the film production industry.
