Cine joven cubano en el Sur is an independent, non-competitive festival that arises from a need: to expose and deconstruct imaginaries around Caribbean culture in the South of Latin America. We aim to demystify stereotypes by showcasing a diverse cinema in its forms and narratives, told by young filmmakers with the intention of sharing, generating points of creative encounter, and cultural exchange to continue demonstrating that there are more things that unite us
Our mission is to raise awareness, deconstruct stereotypes, and generate cultural exchange through cinema.
