CHRONIS PECHLIVANIDIS (INDEPENDENT)

Description

Since its establishment in 1998, my company, “ONOS PRODUCTIONS” (https://onos.tv), has created documentaries covering a wide range of topics, including social, environmental, ethnological, folkloric, musical, religious, political, and artistic subjects. I began my journey of knowledge at the School of Fine Arts and Audiovisual Media in Dijon, France. I was nurtured by the great painters of the Renaissance, Baroque, Romanticism, and Impressionism, eventually reaching Optical Art. The art of capturing impressions ultimately led me to cinematic paths, and my restless explorations began to be recorded through audiovisual material and media. My camera was liberated, capturing the realistic and the everyday. My protagonists have always been and remain characters from next door or from distant lives. They guide me in my explorations.
