Founded in 1958, China Film Archive (aka CFA) is the national institution of film conservation and restoration.CFA has been in charge of film selection, programming and exhibition of Beijing International Film Festival since 2015.In 2016, CFA initiated the Nationwide Alliance of Arthouse Cinemas (aka NAAC), which is the first circuit of cinemas specializing in the screening of art-house films in China.
