Description
“Casa do Saci” is an independent production company that engages in various activities related to the audiovisual universe, with a primary focus on the production of documentary films, fiction, and documentary content. The company began its journey as an audiovisual production collective in 2003 and was legally formalized as an independent producer in 2012, specializing in the production of films and series.
Objective
Financing and/or co-production for editing, finalization and distribution of the documentary feature film "Eu sou Vanete" a documentary about Vanete Almeida, a black woman from the countryside who organized a rural women's union in the interior of the state of Pernambuco, expanding her fight for the rights of women land workers to Latin America and the Caribbean. She was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize and won the Claudia and TRIP awards as a person who makes a difference.
