Description
The Canadian Council on Africa is a not-for-profit Pan-Canadian organization. Founded in 2002, our mission is to promote Trade, Investment & Economic Development in all sectors between Canada and the Continent of Africa. In 2019, we launched an exciting initiative: The Creative Entertainment Industries to promote co-productions and joint business ventures in film, TV, videogames, animation and music to enable successful partnerships through capacity building and credentialed introductions.
Objective
To target companies and individuals who are interested in developing projects between Africa and Canada. The go-to organization to facilitate partnerships among the Creative Entertainment Industries acting as the gap solution provider in such areas as: • Financing / Tax Credits • Investors • Production / Distribution • Studio-Post Facilities • Mentoring • Pitching • Capacity Building & Partners for: Education / Training Equipment / Technology Studio Space: Existing /In Development
