Founded on December 20th 1999, Busan Film Commission introduced for the first time in Asia a systematic structured concept of "Film Commission", providing administrative support and assistance in issuance of filming permits, and providing filming support database, becoming a role model to subsequent film commissions in Korea and beyond in Asia.
