BUDAPEST INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
Description
This year marked the launch of BIFF. The festival took place at the iconic Corvin Cinema. BIFF’s full detailed programme showcased 22 films across four strands. Among the fifteen domestic premieres is The Brutalist, one of 2024's most anticipated films. Other highlights include Leos Carax's It's Not Me, Andrea Arnold's Bird, and Austria's Oscar-entry horror The Devil's Bath. The retrospective section features 4 films such as Abbas Kiarostami's Close-up and The Red Circle with Alain Delon.
