Description
ALEX REED is a creative producer. In the UK she worked with Ken Loach for 5 years before returning to New Zealand to collaborate on over 20 documentary and drama projects. In 2019 she produced social impact film THE GIRL ON THE BRIDGE as well as the genre-bending feature THERE'S NO "I" IN THREESOME. In 2022 she released David Farrier's chilling new feature documentary, MISTER ORGAN. Through Bloom Pictures she has a slate of feature documentaries and two scripted dramas ready to share.
Objective
I'm here at Cannes this year primarily to promote the Bloom Pictures slate of feature documentaries and scripted dramas. I have two feature documentaries close to completion and looking for international representation, four feature documentaries in development and two scripted dramas from exciting new filmmakers with powerful and distinct voices.
