Description
Bif&st is promoted by Apulia Region, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture. Festival president is Margarethe von Trotta. Artistic director is Felice Laudadio (past director of the Venice Film Festival and TaorminaFilmFest, former president of Cinecittà). With an audience of 75,000 it is one of the leading cinema events in Italy, promoting the best Italian and international cinema with gala premières, Federico Fellini Platinum Awards, an international competition and Masterclasses.
