Description
Bêtes Sauvages was founded in 2012 by Mikko Makela and James Watson. Their feature debut A Moment in the Reeds was a UK/Finnish co-production which premiered at the London Film Festival in 2017 and was nominated for a BIFA as well as for Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor at the Finnish Film Awards. In 2020, Bêtes Sauvages was the recipient of a BFI Vision Award to support the development of a slate of queer features.
