Description
AWKACINE is a film production company founded by Susana Carreras and Christian Díaz Pardo.AWKACINE aims to make independent, cinematic, engaging, innovative films in an honest way, building up long term artistic colaboration with talented people from all over the world.AWKACINE is made up from two words, CINE, "film" in spanish, and AWKA (auka), which means "rebel" in mapudungun, mapuche's language. Mapuches are the original inhabitants of Chile.
