Description
Awa Films is one of the New Zealand's leading indigenous film and television production companies. They have made award winning short films and have an exciting slate of feature films in advanced development. They have produced award winning TV series inside prisons and have multi project deals to take Māori stories to global audiences.
Objective
Our history was made in film and we have three feature films that we intend to produce over the next three years. With the shift to long form series we have a focus on scripted content for global audiences. We have partnered with other companies to look at multi project deals.
