Description
Assyouti Productions was established in 2017. Assyouti Productions is Cairo-based, but it engages in projects in other parts of the world in collaboration with local and international cast and crew. In the pipe lines are two features films and a TV series.
Objective
We are currently concluding work on the feature film Day of Friday the Animal, which is an art-house crime thriller about the intrinsic relation of violence and images, a kind of Karfreitagszauber meets Monte Cristo in post-Arab Spring context. DFA's dialogue is in English, with some Arabic and Aramaic. It guest stars some American and European stars. Seeking financiers, co-production partners, sales agents and distribution, for DFA and other projects in development.
