ARTDEPARTMENT.KZ is an independent movie production company founded by artists of various cinema professions. The main activity is production of the independent auteur cinema using a wide range of artistic tools, including plastic makeup and practical effects. Our studio works as full cycled art department (art concept, set decoration, costumes, makeup, FX, locations, practical effect) in large and medium-sized projects.
The main goal for us is to find foreign partners. We are looking for sources implementing the feature film "Red Flower" in finding partners for co-production, funding, production and post-production and distributors. This drama with elements of comedy tells sharp and uncomfortable topics. We represent a young independent film industry in Kazakhstan and there are several short films, which we wish to sell in order to create a small Fund to support independent filmmakers.
