American Zoetrope is the film production company first founded by Francis Coppola in 1969 and now run by Roman, Sofia and Gia Coppola. The Decentralized Pictures Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit backed by American Zoetrope whose mission is to employ blockchain technology to support independent filmmaking and filmmakers from underserved and under represented communities.
