    • "The Touristic Revolution" speaks of the importance of tourism in the world as an emerging industry, analyzing the economic and social revolution that has happened in Spain, Balearic Islands, and in a very special way in Ibiza and Formentera.
      In the case of Ibiza and Formentera the arrival of tourism has caused a radical transformation, moving from a subsistence economy to a modern and affluent society, dedicated to tourism and services. “The Tourist Revolution” wants to bring the audience the complex reality of Ibiza and Formentera, reflecting on how they were, how they have evolved and how they prepare the future. The documentary also shows us some of the ethnographic, architectural, environmental and landscape treasures that still remain.
