    • Attorney Belenguer investigates the most important Chinese mafia in the country, the ‘’Jing’’. This organization's main activity is to extort Chinese shopkeepers in Buenos Aires city and in the province of Buenos Aires. They threaten them with posters and phone calls to pay huge amounts of money that go from 50 thousand to 100 thousand dollars. The aim of this strategy is to get their protection from other mafias. Meanwhile as the investigation proceeds, the leaders’ phones are tapped. However, the spoken language is a weird dialect, Fujianese. The attorney together with the Embassy of the People’s republic of China reaches a Chinese police officer to translate the message. The officer is Shanghai Chi from the Shanghai’s police department. He gets immediately to work. Through wiretapping they discover that this organization is involved in human trafficking. Chinese women were brought through Zarate’s port in complicity with members of Gendarmerie (military forces) and the Migration Office. This fact would oblige the attorney to relegate the action to the federal jurisdiction, however, she will try to keep it in her jurisdiction due to the fact that there is a chance of a possible murder. If she solves the case, she might get a promotion. The judge returns an old favor to the attorney and grants her a search warrant in the military force department in Zarate. She gets the names of the women who came illegally to the country. One of these women is known as the Cantonese. She could get out of her confinement with Xu’s help, one of the mafia's mediator who was apparently in love with her. As a consequence of her decision to escape, the leader of the organization kills her family. They had paid to bring her back. As a result, a dispute between organizations takes place. A shooting occurs in a disco and several members of the other organization die. To stop the killing the judge orders the attorney Belenguer to search the locations of this mafia. Thus, all its leaders but Xu, are arrested. He escapes together with the Cantonese to Ushuaia but they are killed by a hired assassin. Finally, the rest of the members are put under investigation by the attorney and put in preventive detention until the case is solved.
