- Sinopsis
- On the night of January 29th 1990, shortly before the start of democratic reconstruction in Chile, fifty political prisoners escaped from the Santiago public prison through a tunnel that 24 militants of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front (FPMR) had excavated for 18 months with such rudimentary tools as spoons, forks, and a screwdriver. Neither the common prisoners of the nearby cells nor the gendarmes who watched them daily discovered the plan that would lead 49 inmates to reach freedom in one of the most surprising and bustling escapes in Chilean criminal history.
