- Meet the writer:
  
  Allison Johnson has been Ballroom and Latin dancing for over twenty years. Her coaches include Dancing with the Stars professionals, Blackpool finalists, and World Champions. She has trained and performed from Miami to Los Angeles.
  Ms. Johnson received her BA in Theater from the University of Kentucky. Upon graduating, she moved to L.A. After dancing and singing in several independent musical projects, Allison started studying screenwriting.
  She optioned her first screenplay in 2012, shortly after her second child was born. Motherhood temporarily moved her to write children’s books. After publishing two books, she went back to screenwriting.
  During the pandemic, she wrote, directed, and produced four short dance films. Two won honorable mention in the One-Reeler 2021 Short Film Competition.
  Her goal is to get the world dancing by bringing the grace of Fred & Ginger back to the big screen.
