    • The film discovers how tango is reborn in the world, from the mythical tanguería “Trottoirs de Buenos Aires”, located in Paris.
      The actor Jean Pierre Noher, Argentinean of French origin, is looking for a repertoire to record on his first tango album while trying to explain why tango resonates in his personal history.
      His search leads him to investigate the relationship of tango with France, in the mythical presence of Gardel and in the discovery of a dream of the intellectual world in exile in the 80's, with the help of the prestigious Edgardo Cantón together with 23 friends. artists and the patronage of Julio Cortázar. All of them, without knowing what would happen next, decided to open this tanguería, at Rué Lomabarde 9, the Latin Quarter in the heart of Paris.
      Jean Pierre in his route Buenos Aires - Paris- Buenos Aires, is discovering the importance that this place had. Get to know some of their intimate stories, the characters who brought their music to the Trottoirs in those 80s.
      A small event - the founding of a tango bar in Paris - a treasure to discover: the “Trottoirs de Buenos Aires”. Where figures such as Pugliese, the Salgan-De Lío duo, the Sexteto Mayor, Jairo, Josefina, Piazzola, Horacio Ferrer, Amelita Baltar, Roberto Goyeneche, Raul Lavie, the Argentine Tango company, among many other artists, left their mark.
      With the testimony of several of its founders, regular musicians and archives, the collage of this story is assembled, which concludes that this bar was, inadvertently, the springboard of tango to the world.
      “Trottoirs de Buenos Aires” is a tribute to tango, Buenos Aires citizen music par excellence, and to the endearing gatherings of a group of Argentine friends.
