    • Synopsis
    • We are in a distant future, “so far away that it is useless to measure it by our present standards of time”.
Human beings do not exist as such anymore; universal matter consists of insignificant semiconscious particles under the control of an infinitely powerful supercomputer, “Omega Point”, that keeps each one of them in their own paradise, in the circumstances they have chosen to live in forever.
Felipe Cadiz is one of those particles. His paradise is a short moment of his past human life, the happiest of his whole life: a day in the countryside when a girl passed cycling by and smiled at him slightly only to disappear an instant after. Felipe happily relives that moment again and again within Omega Point. He never tries to talk with the girl on the bicycle or even draw near her.
However, things are going to change when a group of strange beings bursts into Felipe’s paradise. Omega Point has granted their whish: to destroy other paradises. Felipe will have to fight for the survival of his paradise, and he will need the girl’s help…
    • Partners & financing
    • This film intends to fill a gap in Spain’s present cinematographic market focusing on a young urban audience interested in new and different products. The production project seeks to prove all this is feasible with a very limited budget, taking advantage of the new video techniques and digital post-production, a human team devoted to the project and a general approach consistent with available resources.
